Quackenbush was the prime mechanical contractor selected by Jamestown Public Utilities to install a new steam separator deigned to operate at 950 psig and
1000 ° F.
This project involved significant scheduling milestones, requiring Quackenbush to do extensive on site laser scanning of existing job site conditions. This was done primarily because offsite pipe prefabrication had to begin before the separator was actually delivered to the jobsite. All Quackenbush fabrication shop welding on Sch 100 pipe was 100% x-ray tested, and there was no jobsite rework needed.
Quackenbush and the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities met the construction schedule and the challenging performance testing criteria. |
