Modifications at the Bird Island Sewage Treatment Plant entailed construction of a new 15,000 sq. ft. building and modifications to the wastewater treament plant's process conduits, mechanical, electrical and control systems. Allowing for only a temporary disturbance of WWTP services, Quackenbush installed steam lines to the heat exchanger, glycol to the roof top units, and rebuilt approximately 30 sluice gates ranging from 8" to 48", the heaviest being roughly 8 tons. |
