University of Buffalo Hayes Hall »

Quackenbush was part of the Hayes Hall reconstruction team as the HVAC contractor.

The exterior was completely restored, while the interior was modernized and equipped with technological upgrades and collaborative spaces, all designed to inspire and support architecture and planning students of the 21st century.

The original facility was constructed in the 1870's. Installation of new mechanical piping throughout was a challenge. Hayes Hall is listed on the National Registry of Historical Landmarks and is on track for LEED Gold Certification.
